Elba Dining Table – Rope
As featured in our Hidden Quays Noosa project
Sculptural. Organic. Effortlessly refined. The Elba Dining Table in Rope finish is a standout centrepiece that brings warmth, texture, and quiet sophistication to any space. Featured prominently in our Hidden Quays Noosa project, this table anchors the open-plan dining area with its bold form and understated elegance, capturing the relaxed yet luxurious essence of coastal living.
Designed by GlobeWest and masterfully executed, the Elba Dining Table delivers a seamless balance between raw natural inspiration and contemporary craftsmanship. Its tactile finish and grounded silhouette make it ideal for interiors that lean into earthy tones, organic forms, and laid-back modernism.
Inspired by Nature, Crafted for Contemporary Living
The rope colour finish—a soft, off-white hue with subtle texture brings to mind sun-washed shores and weathered stone. It adds warmth without heaviness, creating an inviting foundation for any dining space. In our Hidden Quays Noosa project, the Elba Table served as the heart of the home: a sculptural element that complemented the surrounding palette of limestone tones, light timbers, and soft natural light.
At first glance, it’s the pedestal base that draws attention — a gently tapered column that adds architectural presence while maintaining an open and flowing layout. This monolithic design is softened by gentle curves and tactile detailing, making the piece feel both grounded and welcoming.
Bold Design Meets Everyday Practicality
Beyond its visual appeal, the Elba Dining Table is designed with practical elegance in mind. Its generous 2200mm length organic top provides ample seating for up to six people, encouraging intimacy and connection in both family gatherings and casual dinner parties. The round format promotes equal engagement among guests, making it as functional as it is beautiful.
Made from Timber with a claylime finish, the table is highly durable and resistant to everyday wear, while still delivering a raw, natural texture that feels truly elevated. This makes it a smart choice for high-use areas in homes, holiday properties, and designer projects alike — delivering longevity without compromising on design.
The seamless silhouette also makes it easy to pair with a wide variety of dining chairs, from upholstered neutrals like the Carlo Dining Chair in Desert Sand (also featured in Hidden Quays), to bolder statement pieces, offering versatility for evolving interiors.
A Focal Point in the Hidden Quays Noosa Project
In the Hidden Quays Noosa project, the Elba Dining Table was chosen for its sculptural beauty and its ability to unify the open-plan layout. Positioned near expansive windows and surrounded by natural finishes, it served as a tactile focal point that echoed the property’s tranquil outdoor setting. Paired with soft-toned dining chairs and artisan accessories, it became more than just a table — it became an experience, a place for connection and conversation, seamlessly integrated with its surroundings.
This project highlights how a statement table like the Elba can enhance architectural flow and elevate the emotional tone of a space. With its rounded form, bullnose edge and gentle curves, it mirrors the calm, rounded language of the home’s design — offering continuity and calm in equal measure.
Elevated Design at an Attainable Price Point
Despite its designer presence, the Elba Dining Table in Rope offers exceptional value for its size, materiality, and build quality. It brings the look and feel of custom furniture without the bespoke price tag, making it a compelling choice for interior designers, architects, and style-conscious homeowners.
Whether anchoring a formal dining room or defining a relaxed coastal dining space, this table adapts effortlessly — offering long-term durability and timeless visual appeal
