Description

Nippon Kodo's Oedo-Koh Collection draws from the Edo period of Japanese history, known for its 'Iki' or 'dandyism' culture, celebrating an aesthetic of minimalism and mindfulness. This exquisite set includes a singular incense holder and sixty-sticks burning up to twelve minutes each.

Pine trees are dignified symbols in Japan, where they are given the epithet 'matsu' for 'jewellery'. During the Edo period, many of these trees lined the Tokaido, a road traversed by grand voyagers. This Pine Tree incense is an aromatic commemoration of these arboreal panoramas depicted in the period's paintings. Its scent will bring peace and serenity into any space.

Crafted in Tokyo, Japan.
