Cire Trudon Eteignoir Cylindrique

$79.00

Description

Cire Trudon Eteignoir Cylindrique is designed by Pauline Deltour for Cire Trudon. Eteignoirs are tools used to extinguish your candle seamlessly.

Featuring a thin brass hook, the hook reaches out to press the wick into the wax to ensure a clean extinguish of the flame without smoke. Once the wick has been raised back up and centred, the wax-coated wick is easy to light next time you wish to enjoy your candle.

Founded in 1643, Cire Trudon is the oldest Candlemaker in the world still active today. Throughout the 17th century, the manufacturer became the Royal Wax Manufacturer and official supplier in the French court, then to Napoléon Bonaparte. Cire Trudon is Greenpeace approved.

With this modern-day accessory, the daily ritual of lighting a Cire Trudon candle is once again reimagined.
